  One of the most known work of Charles Dickens, It is a story of miser men named 'Ebenezer Scrooge' who is visited by the ghost of his former business partner and spirits of Christmas which leads to his transformation to kind and wiser man. 

A blockbuster story revolving around human vampire relationship. Isabella Swan moves to Fork, to live with her father. Although she makes friends but unexpectedly she is drawn to Edward Cullen but she is convinced that he hates her. Soon Bella discovers that Cullen's are vampire. A love story which keeps you engrossed and leaves you in awe. 

+ A very good book for young readers who have just started reading. It has rhyming phrases which easy to remember. Beautiful illustration which makes it an exciting alphabet book for pre-primary students who have just started reading.

Mem Fox is highly appreciated and most sought Australian author. In this book she bring out diverse culture across the world through the medium of  a child. Children may not look same  and speak different languages. They play, sing, learn and sleep however what makes them alike is child within them. A good book with a message and good illustration.

Fantastic story of a mouse who goes on walk in forest where he meets his enemies. To scare off his enemies he create a imaginative character named Gruffalo until he find him. Book contains beautiful illustrations and rhyming phrases.

Fantastic book for age group 3 to 5. As it is both illustrative and informative as it encourages young reader to read by themselves. It tells the story of caterpillar who goes through pang and toils of life. Again from other perspective it deals with transformation of caterpillar to beautiful butterfly. It can also integrated with science class as it deals with lifecycle of caterpillar to butterfly.

Again a wonderful piece of work by Sandhya Rao who brings marathi folktales with fabulous illustrations. Sonabai the central character of this story lives near a tree which bears sweet berries. She earns by making sweets out of this berries. She was happy and content until this fox named kolaba comes in her life. Author chooses her words appropriately and brings out the folktales around the country with beautiful illustration. This story is one such example. This book is appropriate from grade 1 to grade 9. Good read aloud for Pre- Primary too.

This is story taken from the oral tradition that runs through Bhilala tribe in Madhya Pradesh. Bhilala Tribe believed that there was no land before but only water. The troubled people who were fed up of being wet, prayed god to give them land so that they get dried and remain like this ever. Finally their wishes come true. This book brings out oral tradition of the tribe through words and beautiful illustrations. Picture that we see in book is original mud wall paintings.

A very interesting folktales were Parvathy who knew the story and song which was shared by the old woman from her village before her wedding. Her experience post marriage changes her and she is no longer interested in sharing the song and story. Gradually she understand that sometimes people hurt others unintentionally. Also how important it is to keep traditions alive through songs and stories. It is a Tamil Folklore and contains amazing illustrations.

A very heart touching story of  Leo who is a late bloomer in everything he does. His anxious father keeps watching him grow and patience was only key. One day he is not a late bloomer any more. This book gives a good message that every child has his own pace of learning and developing.
