The Blue Umbrella by Ruskin Bond



Binya is another child who receives the blue umbrella from foreigner in exchange for her leopard claw pendant. Soon the umbrella become part of her routine. But it doesn't end here, a local shopkeeper, who wants the umbrella and tries every possible way to lure the Binya. His jealousness become obsession. But it is after all Binya's innocence that solves the conflict of the two.
